Hmmm, sounds familiar! I just replaced my clutch, that had grenaded and discovered that when I rebuilt the engine 3 or so years ago I hadn't put a pilot bearing in, this being my first time ever rebuilding an engine and not knowing any better. Worked great for those 3 years, no chattering or odd noises...until the clutch decided to blow apart and come out in 3 pieces. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> My post with pics is up here if you wanna take a look.
