Would I be wrong in thinking: Without the pilot bearing in that crank, wouldn't the wear be more in that transmission bearing than anywhere else? The shaft doesn't move in or out, but instead rests in that bearing..all the time. Right? So if there's no support on that end of the shaft, wouldn't that lead to alot of strain on the transmission end? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
