Just leave transfer in 2H and put the gear shifter in neutrel obviously. Don't ask me why, mine wouldn't tow with both transmission and transfer in neutrel.

I tried to tow mine with both in neutral and got the same result. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Why is this???

With the transfer case in neutral, it's neutral to the transmission, not to the wheels. The transfer case is technically putting your truck in 4wd when in the 'neutral' position.

2 HI and Transmission in neutral is the way to go flat towing as well as on a dolly...

Also.. do your states have any laws requiring the vehicle to be registered or insured with any wheels touching the ground (ex.. in PA, you could be ticketed for not carrying insurance on the vehicle in tow if it was on a dolly or being flat towed.
