Ah yes, SeerAtlas. Still off on that secret mission?

hey wait! just because he knew or had done everything ever (at lease what he could disclose without having to kill us), he was a invaluable asset to the wire. need a answer to a monty question, got it. need to know how to fix something, checks in the mail. need somebody to disappear for trying to get you to "upgrade" to a jeep... consider it done.
atlas... seer atlas (hey mods, can i get that beer replaced with a shaken not stirred martini?).
kinda like frank without the clandestine stuff... wait a sec, what do really know about frank ?
btw dave, with you on the meeting some really great people here... except motero... just had to move to az... like they dont have enough members already .
kidding carl, come visit... we can run the b.

You know you've been on the wire for too long when

Lloyd had 31"s and his "new mod" Manual hubs. Of course that was before 4x4wire.

Anyone remember when this place was called "outdoor wire"? I can't remember when I originally signed up but it has been at least 15 years ago now.. I had a different user name then. Back when Lloyd was a regular poster.

Hasn't quite been 15 years. 10 this year though. Outdoorwire was the grand vision of our founder, Dave Gray. He pictured us being a repository for all things outdoors, including hiking, mtb'ing, and of course 4x4'ing. Well, you know which one survives, 10 years later.

What was your username back then? I remember most of the regulars, esp from the beginning, as I recruited them from Vmag...

My user name then was Chris@work or something like that. I took some time off from the forum (quite a while actually) and when I came back the name had changed and my user name no longer worked.

You are right I was thinking how long I have owned my Raider... I actually thing it has been about 8-9 years for me.

...Time's fun when you're having flies!

I keep needing to correct my time estimates on how long this group's been around. Seems like it was only a few years ago we were still on VMAG.

I'm amazed at the quality of the friendships formed over the years on the Mitsu board (the Isuzu guys are great, too), it always seems like I've known some of you guys forever. And you're the best help a guy could ever find on the trail.

You know you've been here when you remember my original name as LastOf3. I joined shortly after I got my long desired Gen II 24V 5-spd. That was my third Montero and the last one I thought I'd have. Then came the 87, some parts trucks and the need for a new name, then the wife's 98. Today I'd have to go by 7AndCounting if I didn't use MontyMcV.

The virtual commununity is the best. You know you'd be welcome at dozens and dozens of places across the country- "if you're ever in the neighborhood."

So what's up guys? How come no one comes to Cleveland?
