Was thinking about that. Sent him a PM just a few minutes ago asking if he was still on the board.

So, now you've morphed into the vocalist I was looking for 40 years ago when I made my living in a similar fashion:

Morgan James - Feelin' Alright

Anyway, if that's you, it's a great rendition, but imo just dying for a good sexy saxophone section to take edge off the guitar and brass - with a slinky solo in the tenor sax style of King Curtis, of course.

I sure wish I could choose whoever I wanted and build a band to play what I still hear in my head.

Good luck on the tour!

Frank

Well, I'm not so sure that's the same Morgan James, but thought I'd run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes.

Seer's from Arkansas - the "other" Morgan James is from CT, I think.

You've been here for too long when you hear the word hootus and can't stop laughing thinking what the hell it means and how well it fits to describe mmmmm.....ahhhhh....eeeehhhhh whatever you feel like...
Well, I have been here for pssssttttt, I cannot remember but like Phil said, of all of the other forums I am a member of; this is the easiest place to have a good conversation, share knowledge and have a good laugh without getting vulgar. Well, unless someone of course, starts posting pictures of their Hootus.
I have met some of y'all and it has been a real pleasure and enjoinment. Nowadays, I am so busy that I cannot spent as much time as I will like to but it is always pleasant to login and surf/ post for a while. During my time away I have been working on various things such like my front hub replacement on the Gen III, which I will soon post, and my turbo conversion Not ready yet I am sure it will be unique

1. ...this old thread really isn't that old.
2. ...you wish you had time to wrench like you used to. (Did I really do a turbo swap, frame off, take two SWBs and turn them into one rebuild?)
2. ...your Hootus doesn't hurt any more!

Many years ago I sold my gen II springs on the wire. A couple years later I bought a SWB advertized on the wire. Turns out it was the guy that bought my springs. I got them back .
And it had a Lloyd front bumper on it.

The rest of you know you've been on the wire for too long when...

You know what a Lloyd front bumper is.

We rarely if ever ban someone for just one incident. That said that picture was simply 'the last straw that broke the camel's back' as the saying goes.
