I couldn't help but notice that no one had 5.38 gears and if they did they weren't giving them or any info up on them. I wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone's private stock or anything but I thought it would be nice if someone would have said "No man I haven't heard of anyone with those for a long time! Sorry sucker!" or anything. Kind of sad that many people saw the thread and no comments at all.

I wouldn't read too much into things. As I recall, there has only ever been a single production run for 5.38 10-bolt gears, and that was like 50 units I believe... its been like 4 years since they were all bought up. The chances that there's an unused, fresh set just sitting around on someone shelf is a huge long shot... so you're really hoping someone whos running a set is getting tired of theirs and willing to part em out... like I said, a long shot.

its nothing against you, but when you come asking for a white elephant, don't expect the responses to come pouring in.

best advice I can give... have you tried calling and asking matt @ indy4x? guarenteed if there are any out there on the market, he'd be one of the first to know. furthurmore, if enough word gets back to him that there's interest, matt's the guy that could concievably make another production run happen.

I read your post but I guess I'm not in the habit of flapping my gums if I don't have anything useful to say...if I have a set of 5.38s to sell I wouldn't be keeping it a secret, you would already know about it. And if I have a set of 5.38s I didn't want to sell I wouldn't advertise it; what would be the point of that?

Thanks guys, now I know that none are immediately available. I can think about going a different route.
