I would like to hear pros/cons of this model, I think it is a 2002, auto, 4x4, 30000 miles as it was owned by a little old lady who has succumbed to Alzheimer's and her kids took her to live with them. She is the original owner.
I want a 4x4 vehicle to leave at my in-laws home in the mountains. I don't need a monster truck, just something capable of negotiating the roads in bad weather. TIA
Too many 4x4's, not enough time or money

I have a friend who really has 465,000 miles on an '87 Samurai, his work truck for the last 22 years. He recently asked (2 years ago now I guess) for me to find him a Tracker ragtop, as his daughter killed his '98 model, which his wife drove daily. I found an '03 Tracker ZR-2 ragtop, stick in Reno. Bright yellow with gray interior. He purchased it immediately, now has 120K miles on it and going strong. He had almost 80K miles out of the original tires. For an everyday car, he and his wife seem to like the Tracker. The auto may rob some power, but you'll still have a good wheeler and snow car, probably good for 25 mpg.
By the by, in the US, that model was applied to the 2-door rag and the 4-door hardtop wagon. Calmini and other have go-parts and stuff for them, too.

Thank you for the reply. Got an idea of what this thing is worth? I have been this ladies mailman for nearly nine years, have no desire to cheat her or overpay either. She will take a huge loss on her mobile home in this economy, but her children do not live near here and really don't have the time or desire to keep running back and forth selling things. They built her a small home, about 900 square feet, between them.

There are 2 Trackers on my local CL: a 2002 model with 141K miles for $3K, another '03 with 88K miles for $7500. Price will vary, neither of these are the ZR2 model.

As far as I can tell, the "ZR2" Tracker is just a sticker/trim package and not a whole different frame, axle, suspension like the S-series ZR2's.
