She bought a 1994 (or 96.. maybe..) Land Rover Disco, to haul the kids (4 of them) around essentially. Went over to landroversonly.com and found out some of the basics on it. Because she lives out in Concord closer to Uwharrie and wants to take it on the trails in April (after hearing about my Uwharrie trips...). Now that last thing I need is her breaking stuff on it going 4 wheeling, I will get the blame from the family for "influencing her" into wanting to take it 4 wheeling... even though it was an idea she came up with all on here own.

Don't volunteer to go lookin' for parts for that thing. Could get ugly.

Happy Birthday BTW!

Happy Birthday. Keep her on the easy trails and she will be ok and still have fun.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Happy Birthday Eli!

Definitely don't want to price parts for it You think Monty OE parts are high

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Are the part prices that bad? Wow! My wife would love one but I'm not keen...

The electronics are the achiles heel IIRC. My brother-in-law is a trained mechanic from Scotland who STRONGLY advised me against getting an LR. I hope he's wrong and your sister's runs better than expected.
