now that you mentioned it, im not quite sure either if it has one fitted. it does have the light on the dash though.

does this mean i can go out and buy any k thermocouple and just wire it to the car in place of the old one? or is there something else im missing?

thanks. i ran the car though for about 100kms while the egt light was doing its things, doesnt matter if im fast or slow, it lights up intermittently though and i dont feel anything different or wrong with the car. what im asking is if i had the light for quite sometime now and im still driving it, should have there been a catastrophic meltdown of the CAT or valves? thanks
