Two wheel drive frames are a lot like the 79-85 frames, they arch up and give you better axle clearence.

The tranny should work but you need to make brackets for the x-member. The two-wheel x-member is welded in place where the four-wheel x-member is bolted in.

There are many sucessful 2-4 wheel conversions. You might want to to do a SEARCH on PBB and do a lot of reading before asking questions.
