I mentioned earlier that I'll be running a set of military beadlocks and 37" tires. Below are the two options I'm looking at. They'll be recentered with PVC inserts, making them double beadlocks. Should work pretty well...Keep in mind that the pictures below show the style of center I'm debating. The rock rings WILL NOT be going on my rig as I don't like them... Option 1: I really like the simplicity. If I ordered these, I'd have a different powdercoat scheme, but they are representative of the way the wheel will look. ![[Linked Image]](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l239/jnegaard/1989%20Raider/DSC00175.jpg) Option 2: I like the centers on these, but the BS is fixed at 3.5 degrees as the pressed centers can't be positioned inside the rim. I say again, the rainbow nation rock rings will not be on them when I have them made. I still think I like the others better. I don't know... ![[Linked Image]](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l239/jnegaard/1989%20Raider/RollCage2-2-09018.jpg) Still waiting on the pics of the rear end. More to come...

Nice cat-bus. Miyazaki fan? I've seen all of his mainstream stuff. Some of them several times. Totoro is my FAVORITE... In fact, somewhere along a rural highway in Nagasaki... ![[Linked Image]](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l239/jnegaard/Miscellaneous/IMG_2169.jpg) ...we found Totoro this year. ![[Linked Image]](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l239/jnegaard/Miscellaneous/IMG_2173.jpg) I about flipped! Anyway, back to the truck. I should have pics of the rear tomorrow. Trying to figure out how much BS to have built into the custom wheels. Les, thanks for the offer. Here at the house, I'm doing a not so exciting top end refresh on the Black Raider. The Beast is being fabbed in San Diego. My stuff came in, by the way. I'm trying to get an inventory of how many ammo boxes I have. There aren't as many as I remember, and I think the San Diego movers may have had some sticky fingers when they offloaded my stuff into storage. I'll let you know what I've got when I figure it out, though.

Well, here are a couple pics of the rear installed. I think the rear shackles are going to be rock magnets the way they are, but without shorter springs, I'm at a loss. I don't really want the frame extended. I have to do some looking. The placement is perfect inside the rear wheel well, though! The gas tank is out in the pic. I'm still trying to figure out what to do about that. No one's done the frame cut tank lift on a SWB. Maybe I'll be the first. I have to do some figuring on what will happen to the rear geometry if I do. ![[Linked Image]](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l239/jnegaard/RaiderRear60sidpic.jpg) A view from the front. Nothing but beef. I don't know how I'm going to provide tread coverage for Kali roads, but I'm sure we'll think of something... ![[Linked Image]](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l239/jnegaard/RaiderRearstance.jpg) What I'm considering now: Tube fenders. Windscreen back chop (A/C is jettisoned, but Monterey's cold). Don or Justice front and drop down rear cage with spare on the inside. Permanent seating for 3. More to come...

Replace the lower shackle bolt with a longer one and put some wheels on it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
