good thing you're putting a v8 in it that tire/wheel combo is going to be HEAVY <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Good thing I've got a strong back and counterweight up front for when I have to change 'em out.

You're the first I've seen to put 60s under a monty... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I know this wasn't the point of your comment, but here it goes...

People keep asking why I'm hung up on 60s. I don't know if I'm the first. I know they're obnoxiously wide and heavy and overkill and blah blah blah...Whatever. I want 60s. If I'm going to the trouble to put a V8 in the Raider, why would I underbuild in the axle dept and break 44s all day long (I'm not an expert driver who can do everything on 33s and pencil sized axles)...essentially I suck behind the wheel, so I'll overbuild this rig, drive it for a long, long time without spending money on the same parts many times over and have a great time doing it.

In short, I reiterate...I want 60s.

Really, this build has been a long wait. I just want to drive the dayum thing. I'm still waiting on an estimated time of completion for the wheels and delivery of a transmission. I also still need to order the D300 RAC from Stak. I hope to have some kind of real update soon.
