I got the 3" lift from Everet. Did the back end last weekend, but didn't have time to get to the front yet, so I'm ass-up for the moment. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> Hope to finish it this weekend.

The front should not be that hard to get back together and I never had to use a hammer. 1st, Make sure your lower A-arms bolts are loose at the frame. 2nd, Make sure your sway bar is disconeted. 3rd, Make sure you leave your top bolts loose where the spacers bolts onto the strut tower untill you get the four bolts on top of the strut fork tight. 4th, leave the bottom nut on the strut fork loose and install the top inside nut and bolt first on the top of the fork and with a prybar, pry on the strut to push the rest of the bolts in. 5th, tighten everything up.
Hope this helps, Dennis

Preliminary step done. Everything is soaking in PB Blaster. 1st, Make sure your lower A-arms bolts are loose at the frame. Just to clarify, I need to loosen both of the large bolts/nuts holding each lower A-arm to the frame. Any chance I can get away without doing this step since I have the 3" lift rather than the 4"? If not, what size are those nuts, and how large of a breaker bar should I be looking at to loosen those suckers? Also, Everet, my coworker and I came up with a suggestion to modify the UpYourKia spacers that may make installation easier, if it's feasible. Instead of welding the bolts to the spacer, how about welding nuts instead and drop the bolts from the top of the shock towers to tighten into weld nuts on the spacers? This would give you 7/8" more clearance to get everything back into place during install.

The lower a-arm is very hard to push down far enough to get the strut back in with the spacer, The rubber bushings are tight. You can get by with the 3" but it will be easer with them loose.

I'll look into the nut idea. Your right in that it could aid in the ease of installation. Everet
