 CEL code N/A ? Is this a dealer specific code?

I've got a code reader I bought at Harbor Freight and it works pretty good, however I've had a code come up and when I check the code it comes back with a code N/A. Do I need a better code reader (maybe stop at Autozone) or do I have to go the dealer and have them overcharge me to read the code?

what was the code # ? or did the code reader say no code ? is the check engine light on ?
2001 5sp. K&N stock filter 215/70/15
If your check engine light is on at least you know the light still works

yes, the CEL light is and the reader says code N/A

do you have a advance auto near you or auto zone, they will check it for you,

I took it to Autozone and it came back with a P013A code? Say's it has something to do with fuel/air metering. Any ideas?

kiatechinfo says it a short between front O2 sensor and the ecm. but they have the P013 with out the A
2001 5sp. K&N stock filter 215/70/15

kiatechinfo says it a short between front O2 sensor and the ecm. but they have the P013 with out the A ok, thanks, looks like what Autozone showed me is just the generic sub-system message. I'll have to check and see if I've got a wire rubbing on something.

go to www.kiatechinfo.com sign up if you have not used it before, after you put in all ifo. on your kia type in P013 it will tell you about it,
