Need a Spot

any one done a solid axlse converstiona on a 82-91 trooper?
thinking about going this route. an using d44 axles a set of leaf springs an a small lift "roughly three inches". an get the drive lines made up. an almost forgot i would have to change the gearing in the axles.
also steering. this is what i mainly have questions about. but any an all info would be great.

the hardest part is getting the old stuff cut off.
search around there are some goos short leaf springs for like a cherokee or wagoneer or somethung like and weld that crap in there,go to the independent4x website and look around at all the stuff they make and start cutting.
