Does anybody have info regarding engine chips or easy engine swaps? Is it possible to fit the newer body V6 in a 2001 model? Because my ride is going to suck hind tit when I increase the tire size!!

Body Damage is Cool
I free flowing exhaust and intake is about all I know of, I think there might be a chip out of Austraila but not sure how well they work.

Are you running a header with your 2 1/2 exhaust and did you notice a big difference with just the exhaust or did you have other mods as well?

the powerchips ecu definitely made a difference on my truck. no dyno proof or anything, but the truck pulled just as hard with the 31's as the stock 27's. i only had the ecu in the truck for a total of 2 hours driving time before installing the lift and tires.

The 95 DOHCs came with a tube exhauts manifold that look like a header but it is realy pinched off at the colector. I did the K&N filter before the exhaust, alone neither one made much of a differance but together the make a differance you can feel. When I put my engine back together I am gong to cut the manifold and weld on a better header colector and see what that does.

I'm looking at having a custom header fab'd by Stan's Headers here in Seattle. Their headers are 14 & 16 gage with a 3/8 flange. They also use digitally controlled mandrel benders! I bought a set for my B/B P/U a while back and was very impressed. You guys may want to check them out if you don't want to mess around with fit issues, stansheaders.com. I'll still need to improve intake airflow & possibly a ecu chip. All together should wake it up quite nicely.

Please let your shop know to save their design for future use. Then let us know the pricing on those headers. Would be nice to have some high flow on my rig.

maybe if you can order a few headers all at once in a group buy we can get a better deal.
