This is a ring and pinion set from a 1990 Toyota 4X4 pickup. It is the original factory Toyota OEM part with 4.56 ratio for a 7.5" IFS. It was removed from the truck for some gears with a higher ratio. The ring gear has 41 teeth and the pinion has 9 teeth on it.
The gears were swapped out when the truck was new back in 1990. These gears probably have only 50 miles on them. They have been sitting in the garage in a sealed box. The ring and pinion are like new and donÆt have any cracks, chips, or rust on them.
These should work on all Toyota IFS model trucks/T100 and 4Runner from 1986-1995(T100 up to 1998) Please do your research and make sure it fits your vehicle.
The ring gear has some red color gear marking compound that the factory uses to make sure that the ring and pinion have a proper tooth contact pattern on the gears during installation.
