Havent had a chance to check the fluid just yet.... After the no go, we let it sit for a bit and a nice easy ride to camp, where it sat for the eve till the ride home...
Now in 4lo that next morning he did say he felt as if had power loss... But in 2(hi) it was fine even at highway speeds. Guessing the Torg Conv got over worked (Have seen clutches get beat on and tired )- I know the previous owner said it has slipped once or twice... but my brother never noticed a slip.... So thinking definatly a "TC" and a fluid drain & fill - I'll look at the fluid see what we see... I have a 'spare' AT tranny that I'll never use, so if after the above I guess he'll get that ..
Whats your thoughts on a seperate tranny cooler???
