What the heck!?

Like the title says...there they go...right out the friggin window!

Can't people leave well enough alone...until they actually come to your house and try to take them. Why don't we just give them even more incentive to destroy our 2nd amendment rights.

I think that this accident has nothing to do with neither "politics" nor with 2nd amendment. I personally do not associate myself with the gunman, and I do not think that he is a fellow NRA member.

Here in PA? I think every man over 20 is an NRA member. I don't know enough about this story to comment but from the first paragraph and what I heard in the news... Wow... Lets hope they don't claim we are all like that... Oh wait, the democrats already labeled us scared holding our guns and bibles... I must be a renegade, I hold onto my laptop and guns.

All I know is that I find it most ironic that we've gone for years without a major gun massecure and all of a sudden they're popping up left and right. All in the last few weeks or months. And now the cops are getting killed left and right too, which has never happened like this.

I'm not saying there's a conspiracy, but rather one hell of a run of bad luck. I'll bet money that more and more cops are going to get right there behind some of these gun bans.

It used to be that cops had no gun rights beyond their juristican (usually state, but could be limited even more). So they were in the same boat as the rest of America as they travelled the country. But no more. Now they have super rights and can carry concealed in all 50 states. Don't get me wrong...I'm all for it, but it gives them no motivation to support guns rights for the rest of us. And then add incidents like this....

I know people are going to be offended that we're worrying about something that they might consider petty in the face of such tragity. But what they need to remember is that we are worried about our own families and our ability to protect them in case such a tragity ever befalls us or them, since they appear to becoming more and more common, so anyone thinks it's distasteful to lament what might happen...I don't really give a rats behind.

The good news is that with everyone panicing about new gun laws there are tens or even hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people who are entering the gun ownership and self protection club. That's just more and more pressure on our Congress to keep thier grubby hands off of our rights to self defense.

By the way, in the incident with the guy that killed all those people at the immigration center, I can confirm one thing from experience and first hand knowledge. The cops are not going to rush in and save you and we saw with this incident. New plans in place for everyone, including corporate America and law enforcment is that they will only act when they can properly secure the building and enter with a fully equipped team (SWAT for example) and that means that you are considered on your freaking own. There are training tapes going around corporate America where they specific teach people how to hide from gunman, because they know most people aren't going to be armed and the cops aren't going in to save you in most circumstances for a good long while. Basically the gist of the tapes...turn the lights off and lock the door and hope he doesn't kick it down. Otherwise, kiss your ass good bye. Oh and by the way, guns are still not allowed at work, thank you very much.....

apparently a "dog urination" complaint is at the root of the incident... i often confuse dog piss and second ammendment rights, well that and hot and cold.
i knew i didnt trust/beleive the spin on this story right from the get go. anybody remember the guy here in utah that gunned his wife down in the ward parking lot in front of friends and family? he said in a interview from prision, he would never have done it if it wasnt for the gun in the glove box. right. im beyond sick and tired of the media turning every story that involves a gun, into somebody concerned about the 2nd ammendment... aka a "gun nut". mark my words, in the near future youll see law abiding gun owners portraid in this way... and the ignorant masses will beleive it.

The talking heads are making a big deal about the N.Y. shooter going to the range every week. I wonder if I'll be thought of as a wack job when I take some expired cans of diced tomatos out to the range this week!
