this works great for a 95 dohc, i assume it will work on 95-02 since they use the same maf.all you need are three things that should cost less than a k&n stock replacement filter, and im sure gives more hp gains and clears out the engine compartment very nicely.
k&n # ru3610 (universal cone filter w/2 3/4 id flange)
1" of dayco # 76250 (2 1/2" straight rad hose)
stant # 10072 (rubber gm oil filler cap)

remove all stock filter housing, rubber intake hose and that little black box, but leave the rubber connector for the lil box on the engine.use the stant oil plug to plug this and use the original clamp to tighten it.take off the rubber connector from the maf to the stock air box, put the dayco straight rad hose in the larger end of this and place on the intake pipe, use the original clamp to tighten this.next put the maf on the other end of the rubber connector and use the original clamp to tighten.lastly put the k&n on the other side of the maf and use the supplied clamp to tighten.voila, your very own cold air intake!!!!!
