Great work! Did something similar a few years back, you may want to fab up a box around the filter to protect it against heat from the header which is a few inches away and from debris. I did that then cut a hole in the hood and made an intake to the filter would draw in cold air from the outside and not use hot engine bay air, and sealed the box to the hood to limit the amount of warm air the CAI would draw in!!
