Actually, to get cold air in, I like the idea of a hood scoop with a intake hose hooked up to the stock air box and the hose attached to the hood scoop somehow.

Also, I'm looking at making a 3-3.5" tube snorkel. If I can ever get my buddy to TIG weld it for me...I've used several favors from him recently and he is slow to answer his phone now.
Another idea is to have my buddy at work draw a cad file for it and maybe see if the tube bending guys can bend it in one piece.
Thinking aluminum might look good...think steel would be less expensive.
Would make it so you could put a K&N on top or a cool looking end on it.
