I just got a 1989 raider 2.6 from a local scrap yard. The truck has no tires or gas tank(rules for selling cars). Once it got the truck home I figured I'd see if it ran. Put some gas in the carb and a battery and it fired right up ran a few seconds then died. I tried putting the fuel lines in a bottle of gas but it won't prime. I noticed on my other truck the tank has some black boxes or somthing on the top(I guess vacuum or somthing) is this why the truck won't prmie thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
