The early SRs 92 and 93 I think, had the 9 in diff with or without locker. My 93 has 4.875 gears. The later SRs had the 9.5in diff. So, no, the late SRs third member will not bolt to the gen1 axle. I also dont know what is different between the gen2 9in and the gen1 9in.

What is wrong with the Nissan axle? What are you using for the front? What gears do you want to go with? What tcase?
