If i was to get the '95 SR axle, i was planning on cutting of the coil perches and welding on leaf spring pearches. But if by some stroke of luck there was a sport axle along with that SR axle, it wouldnt take to long to swap the SR diff and axles into the Sport housing(joy of 3rd members and lack of C-clips). Now.....if a 90-93(i think this is the year range) SR axle is at the yard, is it a gaurante like the 95 to have an air locking diff, or pretty much see if the button is there for it?? And the difference between the 93 axle is a smaller ring gear(9" vs 9.5")?? Thanks for all your help and information guys, you guys really are helping figure out the axle situation.

Smaller ring gear smaller axles 28 spline 1.2" v 31 spline 1.4" on 95+ (actually it started in early 94)SR. Lockers on 91-93 are pretty rare. But the come with 4.875 axle ratio.
