I'm going to an event at Rausch Creek in PA this Easter Weekend with a huge group of FJs. (mostly newbies, but still fun)

DougH is going along for the ride, so if anyone might be planning to wheel this weekend over there, or even just want to visit we'll be there Friday night to Sunday afternoon.

hey was that a knock at my FJ? Don't get me started on how much better the FJ is than the Monty........

Anyway...you know ... I think there are still a few of us original 4x4wire guys that might be in the area.

It would be cool to see one or two of the old timers.

I'm heading up to PA for easter weekend with the family and girlfriend.. If my truck's injectors weren't in Washington State right now getting cleaned.. you might have had an Isuzu showing up.

Nah wasn't a crack at the FJ btw... I'll be driving my corolla up to PA.. the truck is much more fun to drive. I'm almost tempted to sell the car for an excuse to drive a 4x4 vehicle again.

Actually... thats 2 hours from me, and about 18 mins from my dads place.... hmmm Can I get the Raider up to par by then...

Since this is technically the Tech thread, How hard is it to change out a broken motor mount?

carolla's rule!!

I'm getting excited; I've been with groups off-road many times, but this is going to be amazing....imagine going to an event where there are 100 Monteros all modded up....truck-gasm.

Anyway, DougH is still toying with the idea of getting his Gen2 working again. And I'm hoping this trip to the trails of Rausch will motivate him to find the time to get out there and fix that thing.

Well, maybe when planes stop flying he will...

On the otherhand he'll probably switch to base jumping instead.

Oh, hey, Ray- I'm done with my CO2 mod. Here is a photo of how I have the Quick Releases on both sides of the truck so that I can just plug in and air up without a long line- or carrying the CO2 cylinder around.

StockRaider, it's not hard to change the engine mounts. For the most part, you just jack up the engine, unbolt the mount and reverse procedure. You might have to watch the fan vs. shroud, etc. Make sure you don't go nuts and jack the engine up too far and it should be fine. All you have to do is lift the weight of the engine off the mount, basically.
