Do Amigos and Troopers have close to the same powertrain? Thanks again.


The early Troopers has 2.8 v6 engine option, the Amigos only came with the I4s. A 2.6 Trooper will be the same as a 2.6 Amigo for the same year.

The OEM 1990 Service Manual, covers the Amigo & Pickup. The Trooper had its own. Probably similar in other years.
