So after what has seemed like the longest coldest winter in history we finally got a break.
3 straight days of 70 degree weather and the cutting, hammering and bending continued after many months of failed attaempts with frozen fingers.

Must've cut 20 lbs of sheetmeatal off the Subi. Fender clearance is no longer an issue.

Neither is axle clearance! 12" under the read diff ought to do it.

Need to install a new water temp sensor for the fan and fix the drivers window switch but she LIVES!!!

I live in West Seattle.
Plan to be wheeling at Tahuya ORV park next Saturday.

Have some switches to replace and anew deep cycle battery to drop in before she's road worthy.
Tires are 28"x8.5/14's TSL Swampers. Not an easy size to find either.
Not as hard those damn rims were to track down but took some digging.

Exactly why I bought 5...JUST in case.Tough size to find a spare for at the wrecking yard.

I have a full set of street tires for around town so I don't wear those soft TSL's out too quickly.

Hell, the tires cost more than the car! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Wish I could find 1 more matched rim but they're rare as hell.
