if anyone is seriously interested in a bad bumper, one of the guys that comes into my work just built one for his tacoma, its definately on my wish list...i'll get some pics but he said prob about $250 for 1 for our kias, wouldnt even want to guess a price on shipping but we're in idaho right by spokane washinton..im sure we could get a better deal the more people that want one also he said could be less $ if we didnt want as reinforced as his is,he smacked a tree pretty good and didnt even dent it.but if your just out for looks not winching or anything it could be less

Are you talking about a bad bumper or a BAD ASS BUMPER? I'm looking for something like the one on the UPYOURKIA web site. There's a red Spotage pictured 3 times on their front page. Is it as nice as that and does it have a winch mount?

I'm just across from you in Seattle so I could come pic it up if it warranted the trip! Get some really good pics for us.

I just finished building a FRONT tube bumper for my 2000 Sportage. I can build more if you guys are willing to pay $275 (+shipping) for one, since I paid over $150 for materials and about 8 hrs of labor. If I can upload a picture I will, but if my computer cannot get thru, you can ask me for pix via email: [email]razeprotrk@hotmail.com.[/email] Next week I will start working on a rear bumper. Both front and rear bumpers will have a receiver so you can mount your winch on a 2" sq tube and make your winch portable, instead of permanent mount. If anybody wants a permanent Warn winch mount, I can do that too.

When do you think you can get some pics of that bumper you spoke about?

The bumper on the red Sportage Everet has on his UPYOURKIA web page is the best bumper I've seen. However, if you like the front one, you should see the rear one. It is even better! I spoke to the guy who owned it via e-mail about having his buddy make me a set, but have not gotten anywhere. The Sportage was originally out of Canada, but the guy sold it.

I would love to get a hold of this guy and express my opinion of his work! Maybe if he knew how many people were interested in this he would reconsider? If so, I would get in line right behind you for sure! What are your thoughts?

Here's the funny part about this Red Sportage. Long before I knew that UPYOURKIA even existed, I had already purchased a wheel & tire package from Desert Rat Off road and those are the same damn wheels as mine. Their Dick Cepek DC1's but I put DC Crusher tires on mine! Not on the rig yet because I'm waiting on Everet's lift kit so I don't know how they run? Should all come together nicley when it's done. Be even better if we could nail down these bumpers, good luck!!!!
