Actually 93.5 was the beginning of the 3.5 dohc and larger drivetraine and those made before 94.5 are the ones with the oddball wide u-joints and these trucks didn't get adjustable shocks either. my 95 doesnt have adjustable suspension i think its a freak though. Dohc 3.5 24v is 214hp, sohc 3.5 24v is about 200ish, and makes prettier music when you kick it. I haven't seen #'s on a 3.8 sohc 24v, tho. I still want to seek what a 3.8T with 3.5 dohc heads and about a 16G single turbo would do... single 16G would run out of breath at about 3k on a 3.8

I agree a single 16G will not be of great use on a 3.8, now two of them will howl. I would not run less than two TD04H-13G-6 turbos based on 3K parts. They will spool below 2K and pull to the rev limit and provide full torque from 2200 to 4500 or so. Probably be falling off from 5K or so, fine for a truck.
Cheers, Charlie If It ain't broke, Modify it! 87 Montero turbo Converted back in Spring1989 95 Montero SR 3.8 DOHC Only one? 93 Pajero 3 door 6G75 Mivec with paddle shifted 5 speed Then a Gen2 SR with full coil independent suspension.
