upper ball joint bold had a stripped nut my friend failed to mention. do yourself a favor and replace all bolts and nuts when lifting a vehicle. no lasting damage...just a b**** to fix on the trail

happy wheelin guys more pics after the fix and new tires..one is dry rotted and leaks bad

That sucks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />! To replace the upper ball joint you need to get the whole A-arm. Get two so it doesn't happen to the other side on your next wheelin trip. You Kia looks good though.

luckily it was just the bolt that let the balljoint slip out..no damage..new grade 8 bolt and nut and im good to go...just about to head for some mud..i wish i had my 31's but with only three good tires im back on my 205/75/r15s ms tires. so if i read that correctly these aren't press in ball joints?
i could possibly change that.

i think carparts .com or ebay cant remember had it for around 74 bucks


01 w/31 in. mtr,winch,elec.fan ,4 in.suspension lift and 4in. body lift,front and rear hitch. NOT ENOUGH POWER so V8 and solid axles coming soon.2013

if ur talkin bout the upper balls, go with dorman, theyre a good product and a lot more economical than spicer or moog, i looked at work today, should go for about $55 wholesale

all i can say is rockauto.com now to ge this thread back on track. i got pics from my mudding adventure. i know im 4wd..but my rig didnt get stuck and my friends dodge dakota on 31's got stuck tons of times. i also found a matching set of 235/75/r15 bfg t/a ko tires..i love these things..going mudding again today..

some pics of my interior work.
i did custom leds in the gauges, radio, and dome light.
custom headliner.
and painted the dash and a few pieces.

interior is like the exterior. far from done.
