I have a very rare set of 4.88 gears for a 4 cylinder Mitsubishi. I had these installed in my '85 Mitsubishi Pickup. These gears are Ideal if you want to run 33+ tires. Currently the gears are still in the 3rd members. Price is $350 for the set plus shipping. I am located in Utah. If interested please Email me at www.spenceevans@yahoo.com

Yeah, let him know, I kept thinking I would use them on another project but I just dont see it happening, I would like to see them find a good home.

Hey Chief, You might want to check out this thread. Unless you've got a 4 cyl you haven't listed, it doesn't look like this pair will work for you. 4.88 gears

I have the 9" rear 4.88 from my 92SR.
So I've been searching for the 8" rear 4.88 to put into the front of my V6. Everything I've heard is that it would fit.
'89 Raider V6, AT, SAS'ed, Dana 44 front & rear, 5:38 gears, NP 231 T-case.
'97 Montero SR, cold weather package, 4.90 R&P, BATTLEZ suspension w/ 2" lift, JAOS grill guard & under body protection, custom rock sliders.

If it matters to anyone, the rear carrier is a LSD. So you get front and rear third members with 4.88 gears and a rear LSD.
