I forget...where in Ohio are you? I'm in Cincinnati. I'd love to put that on my 1st gen.
Do you have the factory ribbing that goes in the tailgate? Or is that completely necessary?
Could I mount a 36" tire on it?

Adam, FWIW, my 85 4Runner only fits a 33" tire tucked all the way up between the frame rails. Then again, my spare tire mount was relocated ABOVE the frame rails, not flush.

Adam, you'll want some reinforcement behind that, esp if mounting a 36". 4Crawler expounded on that several moons ago.

I am in Columbus.It is the tailgate mounted one and unfortunately I don't have any of the ribbing.The rest of the truck is gone.
