Day one...

After eight hours of working on the truck... and five beers, I've got the tranny moved back and the old clutch out. There was material on it but there was allot of signs of heat. Everything was glazed. The bell housing was soaked with oil.

I ended up wasting allot of time unhooking stuff that didn't need to be unhooked, but that's how you learn. I also wasted time trying to do it without taking out the gearshifts, then trying to do it with the transmission half out.

Hopefully everything arrived on the bus today so I can pick it up tomorrow and put it back in the truck.

We'll see how tomorrow progresses.
