Need a Spot

Okay looked for the all the info i can come up on this button, can't figure out what it is for sure. I think its a torque converter? Any know? I notice it doubles my RPMs when I switch it on while in gear. I never use it and its kida Scary when going down the road and actdently switch it on at 65 MPH <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
