Ouch. Still, I might be looking around town for someone who does a lot of welding repairs - boat fab and/or custom stuff. I'd bet if you brought it in to the right place someone would fill it in for free or tops $20. For someone that works with aluminum on a regular basis they'd prolly be happy to do it in hopes that you'd bring more real business. I would.
