Yeah, I'm definitely impressed with how Novak handled the situation. They also said that I should be fine running it with five bolts and that they'd warranty it that way, but I'm more concerned about my tranny and T-case, which have no such warranty.

As far as rotating it goes, I rotated and flipped the gasket every which way before determining that 5 bolts was the best I was going to do. Also, there is a transmission mount built in to the adapter, so it is pretty clear which way it is supposed to be mounted.

I agree that having Novak cut one custom is the best solution, and that is why I was hoping someone would know exactly where this bolt pattern came from. I guess I will just have to dimension the 6th hole and hope that it lines up perfect. I'll also give Mitch at RMH a call and see what he knows about it. I'll post when I know how it's all going to shake out.
