If he can get clearance, my friend Jose wants to ride along with me. No wife and kids, though...
I will be out of town until Friday night, but I may well want to go wheeling this weekend. If anybody has plans, let me know. I will have to get up north and run FR 300, the Mogollon Rim road soon, as it's heating up here and the Nat. Forest just reopened those roads in the Coconino...at 7000 feet elevation = nice and cool...

7000 feet elevation = nice and cool... Awsome, it's pretty hot i'm thinking this summer we hit Pyeatt Draw or sunflower mine. There is also another trail up there I want to look at but i can't remember it's name, but i just want to hike it because i hear it's probably arizona's hardest trail. A guy i used to work with took his crawler up there and it got eaten alive.

I go out of town for three days...and this is the best you guys can come up with?? Bor-ing. Guess I'll have to cut the grass and do actual useful things around the house instead of furthering the 4wd cause. Curses!

Kind of a "Your truck must be able to get over this so you can park here" kind of thing?
Gonna need a bigger truck to get those kind of rocks in here. I'll start small. Zen-garden small.

Alright everybody, we are sitting at about 2 weeks and 3 days till this journey. It sounds like there is gonna be a pretty good sized group going on this trip so I was figuring we will only be able to run about 2 trails each day. If we can do more that would be cool but I'm trying to be realistic. I am planning on leaving Mesa/Gilbert late afternoon maybe around 3 or 4ish. For those that are planning on leaving friday with me we can figure out a meet time and Place. I don't have to leave at that exact time if your wanting to head out friday as well but just let me know if you need it to be later. Make sure you pack sun block
