I have a Yaesu VX-5 and a Yaesu FT-7800.

I frequently refer to the instruction manual....

I currently have a Radio Shack HTX-212. Looking forward to getting a Yaesu FT-897 or 857. Then a replacement HT.

Was about to post up about my first radio, when I read this post. Heheh... I also got the VX-6R. Not licensed yet, but studying for my test. Most of my wheeling buddies are licensed now, and their CBs are collecting dust... our wheeling locations are getting more and more remote, so I think its time. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
