Hi, IM here from the UK and I see that you all call your trucks Montera's, whether they are Pajero's Shogun's or Challengers, why is this ?,??? am I missing something here <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Well from what I understand, the Montero name is only used in the North, Central, and South American markets. The Spanish dialects used in those three regions render the word "Pajero" as something offensive. "Montero" was used because it means Mountain Warrior or some BS like that!

Montero Sports here are nothing more than Challengers. I guess Mitsubishi NA decided Montero Sport was more appealing than Challenger!

Who the hell came up with the name "Shogun"?
