Hey Was gonna put a straight pipe on my 99. Found that my Exhaust manifold was cracked. $247 complete set from the dealership and could't find anyone else in town that carries them. Well my Cat. is also plugged and I busted one of the bolts to my Muffler to find out they were weilded But was woundering if there would be any problems making a Straight pipe with a Glasspack togather on it? And the cat. that is clogged is the one nearest to the muffler.

What would be the best size pipe and glass pipe for this? I went and bought some 2" pipe and 2.25" x 24" long Glass pack think that would work well? with out slaping and popping to much? Really trying to prevent the slapping and popping to much.

I was thinking about doing 2 1/4 because i got two tail pipe ends. was gonna weild them togather kinda like a Resonator but for a whole lenght of 17", And a Sound clip of your rig would be nice too

I just recently upgraded to 2 1/4" using a summit turbo muffler and summit tubing. sounded like donkey dookie until i added a resonator off of a honda. now it sounds pretty good. not deep, but not annoying like most fart cans. Although you do lose some low end, it more than makes up for it in the midrange.
