the hood came from the half cut i bought, that is correct. as far as the controller goes, it also came with the whole glow system, so eventually i was going to try and wire it all in so it would operate stock. since the 2.2 is 6v and the plugs are 12v, i think the original stock controller would need either modification to put that out, or at least some method of doubling the voltage once it left the controller. i think someone else has used a VW timer relay with good performance. but for now, the truck starts without the use of glow plugs, very easily, so i will put off doing the electrical for now. i can also pull the isuzu part # off the controller, perhaps it could be ordered?? if you wanted to see about getting one that would need no modification, other than figuring where all the wires go, of course!
