For my education, if you allow the glow plug to blow out the remaining bit of the glow plug, when that happens, won't you lose compression in that cyl? Also, won't you then get dirt sucked in on the intake stroke?

i never responded to this, but the piece blew out on the highway a month or so after i had it on the road. it was really loud and lost a ton of power,and was loud as hell- but i limped it home and replaced the glow plug with no problem.
