hi can anyone please help me. I'm in New Zealand and have a 1999 chevy blazer LS 4.3 ltr v6. I need to get a new waterpump but i need to know if its a long or short waterpump.... how do i find this out ? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

My best suggestion would be to take the bad one off, take it to the local parts store, and try to match it to one they have there.

huge problem with taking it out and taking it to the parts shop - they are 800km away - long way to walk !!!!! thanks anyway

Short of the removal and match scenario, record the factory casting number and have it cross-referenced.
