Is this true, I had my SAW's installed today and came across this big pink piece of paper that says "ATTENTION SHOCKS MUST BE NITROGEN CHARGED TO 200 P.S.I WITH THE SHAFT FULLY EXTENDED FOR PROPER OPERATION AND FUNCTION"

What's up with that..? I have never heard this before. All I heard was from JadeRunner who said his came pre-charged, don't mess with them otherwise it'll cost ya $20.00 to re-fill.

Tell me this isn't true, they are pre-filled

Yes they come pre-charged with 180-200 lbs of nitrogen in them, you are alright

I would double check with Sway-A-Way....I always thought they came uncharged.

If they have that notice in them then maybe they are changing the program. I would call SAW. They were helpful when I called them a while ago.

Finding someone to fill them up wasn't fun. I just jacked up the trucked when getting them filled. It would be easier and simpler to do before they were installed.

I saw (no pun intended ) that sheet with that on there as well and wondered briefly about that myself. Well, they're on and it drives. I don't know, what if they were at 0 or something, woundn't it be an unbearably/unsafe springy ride like if you were missing shocks? You all got me wonderin' again, but I think we're fine.

I guess Steve beat my post here.

The ride is compaired to what it became after I put the extra weight of the ARB and winch on the stock Toyota shocks. The weight was definately too much for the old shocks, even the bushings were failing. Pix of the busted toyo shocks here

I supposidly have Tundra valving, but still think the ride could be a bit firmer. Maybe I just got too used to the Bang-Shudder-Shudder of hitting a pot hole with the old shocks vs. the new Float-Bubble-Bubble with the SAW's installed.

All in all, I'm pleased
