I've been following this thread anxious for a solution, too. I've got somewhat similar situation but at a lower idle. Maybe the solution to your problem will help others.



How low of an idle?


It alternates between barely running (500 or so) and 1000 (running just fine). Sensors are new, AFM is new (old one died), TPS new and set... It's beyond my ability to diagnose but something isn't right and I can't find it. I have the street RV head with o/s valves and the 261c cam. It's amazing off road but runs at the speed of smell on road with even the slightest incline. I think I might go back to my old cam and see if anything changes. MPG hovers around 16-17.
