Top shift were only available till 91. Forward shift available till 95. You can convert a forward to top shift.

OK, thanks Greg. I looked at the FAQ section and thought that it might be outdated. The FAQ section does not mention the Forward shift gear driven cases, but you've cleared it up for me. I also see in the FAQ section that it wouldn't be to hard to do the conversion to top shift.

Does anyone perhaps know if these newer cases ('90 and up) has the same dimensions as the older 1980 cases. I read on Marlin's site in the T-case bible that some cases are referred to as tall. Is the overall case taller, or is it just the bottom half (from the in and output flanges to the drain plug)?

I have a fairly bad vibration coming from one or both of my dual cases. Does anyone want to speculate what the likely cause of that might be? Would it be the Marlin adapter that is going or the T-case bearings?

Thanks for the help

Actually it does mention it. It says 80-95 for forward shift and 79-91 for top shift. Do the math and yoiu can see that it's forward shift only for 92-95.
As for your issue, i have no idea, i've got a v6. Going out on a limb it's bearings and general worn-out-ness of being 30 years old. I remember they were having issues awhile back mixing old and new parts, and the tolerances were off (because of the wear) causing issues (might have been All-Pro, or AA, i forget) but wear is definately an issue.
