I picked out some 5125s yesterday. We used a tape to see what I was working with at ride height with blown Trailmaster rears and Skyjacker fronts, figured out where the new mounts would be (rears on top of the tube, fronts midway up it) and searched the Bilstein site to come up with the best matched length and balanced street/trail worthy valving which is a 12" travel 5125. (An IFS front with spacers won't take one that long, but your rears might). I thought of running remote reservoirs, but they're really overkill for the rides I take, which aren't based on speeding down a trail, and I daily-drive my rig plus tend to have long highway distances to the trailheads.

For a monotube shock, 5125s have reportedly been holding up to the temperature changes around here better than the other Bils. And at $75 per corner, they won't break the bank if I blow one up.
