Time being as tight as it is for me lately, I decided to change the gear-box oil to see how that worked out for me.

I had some GL4 for one of my other cars, so I pumped that in and added a bottle of friction modifier.

The difference was amazing. I used to have to double-clutch, coax, plead, and I'd still get some grinding in any shifts into 2nd and 3rd. Now, just a light hand on the lever will actuate the shift.

And the PO was really proud that he had put in a synthetic.
