I had never heard of a friction modifyer for a manual tranny: that makes more sense, basicly you mixed two gear lubes


There was for one of the V5MT1s. The '1' used paper lined syncro rings and required an additive. They switched to the the same syncro type my T-5 uses with the '3' and no longer recommended the modifier. Leastwise, that's what I was told.
